| During a period of 6 months EMR needed assistance to manage their maintenance of SJAB fleet of 441 passenger coaches. At the same time an improvement program should be carried out. The work included daily issues as regards the maintenance at the workshops, various problems management and technical problems etc. Among other things an internet based IT-tool to manage and monitor the maintenance production was developed. | |

| The Swedish Railway Administration is doing a feasibility study on high-speed (250-320 km/h) passenger train services in Sweden, in particular the corridor Stockholm – Linköping – Jönköping - Gothenburg. As a part of this study, Transrail was contracted to do a calculation of the operational costs of such traffic. The study included all cost elements of the operation, in specific estimates on the investment and maintenance of suitable types of rolling stock. | |
